is Alan LeStourgeon and I am 40. I am presently working on a Graphic Design degree at
Brevard Community College in Melbourne, FL. My Employer is Bell South Advertising and Publishing, where I am a Sales Team Support Artist, designing ads for the Real Yellow Pages. I have been with BellSouth since July, 1997. Member National
Association of Photoshop Professionals. Attended PhotoshopWorld 2000. |
| Graphic Design Experience | Photoshop 3, 4 & 5 - Five years
experience with Photoshop on both the Windows and Macintosh platforms. I've used Photoshop
to create collages, internet graphics, logos and various other original artwork. Also have
experience with all of Photoshop's color correcting tools and various filters such as
Kai's Power Tools for special effects. Freehand 3 & 5 - Four years experience with Freehand starting with version 3. Well versed in all areas of this program including all pre-press functions. Illustrator 5,6 & 7 - I use this program extensively with my present employer. Well versed in all aspects of this program as I utilize this program 7 to 8 hours a day. After using Freehand for three years I am now a hardcore Illustrator convert. PageMaker 6 - Four years of experience
with PageMaker. Well versed in many areas of this program. Have used PageMaker to produce
greeting cards, business cards, stationary and newsletters. Familiar with all typesetting
features of PageMaker. |
| Accomplishments | Drawing accepted into
the 18th Annual Juried Art Exhibition at the Brevard Art Center Won Rockwell/Collins Avionics 1996 T-shirt design contest. Artwork selected for 1995 & 1996 Student Art Exhibition at BCC. Designed church mascot for T-shirts, gym clothes, jackets, etc. Three images selected for Bryce Forum Select Gallery. Carrara image selected for Metacreations Image of The Day.

| Hardware Experience | Seven years experience
with IBM compatible PCs. Experienced in setting up hardware and installing software,
printers, memory, modems, additional ports, external drives, etc. Also some experience
with Macintosh computers including 8 months of on the job usage at Bell South.

| Hobbies and Interests | Computers, Photoshop,
3d computer art and basketball. Own Pentium 500mhz computer, 512meg ram, Zip drive, with Windows NT 4, Visual Basic 4, PageMaker 6, Photoshop 5 (soon to be 6) w/Kais Power Tools, Illustrator 7, Freehand 5, Bryce 4, Carrara 1, trueSpace 4.3, Microsoft Office 97, FrontPage 98 and Internet Explorer 5. Art- experienced colored pencil, graphite, acrylic, oil and pastel. Music- Drummer for 25 years have given private lessons.

95, Windows NT Workstation 4 Visual Basic- Have worked on several class projects and have a general understanding of the concepts of programming. PowerPoint and Astound- Have produced various presentations including self-running photographic slide show. Have a very good understanding of all aspects of these programs. Multimedia Toolbook- Successfully completed Asymetrix Training Center Program, Multimedia Authoring Course using Multimedia Toolbook CBT. Familiar with Toolbook script programming. Also very familiar with FrontPage 98, Lightwave 3d 5.5, Astound Digital Video Producer, Bryce 4, Carrara 1, trueSpace 4.3, Adobe Dimensions 3, Streamline 4 and various word processing programs.
