CARRARA

Welcome to my Carrara test pages. At this time (12-30-99) Carrara is FULL of bugs, which is par for the course for everything Metacreations puts out. This program has great potential, though with the recent happenings at Metacreations, Carrara might not see its full capability.

As a Bryce user Carrara is the next logical step into 3d. Bryce is a great program but it has its limitations in that it doesn't have a modeler, I was hoping Carrara would be the modeler I was looking for.

This gallery will feature some doodles and studies to show what Carrara is capable of and also cover some of the many bugs I encounter. Mainly to show images DESPITE the bugs.

My plan is to eventually move into high resolution fine art prints with Carrara and Bryce. (Here are my Bryce images)   I'm not interested in animation at this time so I won't be covering any of those bugs, which I'm sure there are many.

For those interested, I'm working on a Quantex 500mhz, 512meg ram, #9 Revolution 32 meg video board and Windows NT Workstation 4 SP 4.
